When you get the coordinates from a call carrier, more than like they're in a DMS format.
(Degree Minutes Seconds) as shown to the left
The first group of numbers is the degrees.
The second group of numbers is the minutes.
The third group of numbers is the seconds.

Enter the number in the top blocks, and click Convert to Decimal. That will provide you with the correct decimal degrees needed to enter into CAD.
Remember: Since our longitude is always west of the Prime Meridian, we have to make it a negative value by putting a negative sign in front of the Longitude value. We do this AFTER the conversion (in the DD format), not in the DMS format.
